About Me
If you are here to find out if I am on social media, these are the platforms where I am the most active:
Instagram | Pinterest | LinkedIn | Twitter (I refuse to call it X...)
My Day Job
My full time job is an Experience Design Creative Specialist at the Waters Corporation headquarters in Milford, MA. I am part of the Experience Design Center, where I maintain and organized digital and physical workspace, create video and audio content, design slides and marketing material, battle with technology, improve digital accessibility, and learn about liquid chromatography.
My Side Jobs
I work as a freelance writer, designer, and consultant to multiple historical and religious organizations. My work has appeared in the journals, magazines, or blogs of Mainly Museums, Tufts University, the Coalition of Master’s Scholars in Material Culture, New England Museum Association, and others. Additionally, I am an active volunteer with Blackstone Heritage Corridor, Inc. (Inaugural Volunteer of the Year in 2022!), as a designer and video editor, musician, bicyclist, and historian. My work with BHC includes a virtual exhibit on 19th century activist Abby Kelley Foster, which is hosted on the National Park Service website.
My Past Jobs
My resume is long and varied. I briefly worked in the National Park Service as a GS-7 Educational Technician at Big Thicket National Preserve in Texas, about 90 minutes northeast of Houston. Before that, my past work experience included designing for the Norton Public Library and Arts @ Wheaton, along with acting as the assistant to the chair of the Arts Department at Wheaton College. I was the Office Manager at Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church , where I designed all print and digital material, along with managing the majority of correspondences through mass email and social media. As a student at Tufts, I was a TA for a civics course through the Jonathan M Tisch College of Civic Life and led study groups with Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Tufts. During this time, I worked in visitor services and led virtual tours for the Museum of Work & Culture.
Education
For education, I graduated from the Museum Studies program at Tufts University with an MA in Museum Education in May 2021. I graduated summa cum laude from Wheaton College in May 2018 with a double major in Creative Writing & English Literature and a self-created major called Creative Industries— combining elements of graphic design, computer programming, and business & management — and a minor in Music Theory & Composition. I’m currently part of the inaugural Intrapreneurs with Purpose Fellowship of Harvard Innovation Labs in collaboration with Harvard Business School Online. Seems like I cannot stop going to school.
